Mainstream apps were architected for monogamous dating with non-monogamy bolted on as an afterthought. The result is a flat profile that erases the relationships that actually define your life. We took a different approach.
Your network is part of you
When someone meets you, they're meeting your existing people too. A new person on Constellation can see who's already in your orbit (with consent from every person involved), how you label those relationships, and what your set-up actually looks like. Less awkward "so are you and your wife open or…" conversations on date one.
No primary, no hierarchy assumed
Some people have a nesting partner; some don't. Some practice kitchen-table poly; others run parallel. The relationship-style chips on your profile and the relationships in your chart are both fully multi-select with 22+ canonical options. Pick what's true. Reject what isn't.
Discovery without the meat-market feel
No gamified swipe-loop. No "out of likes" wall. A small, considered batch of profiles per session, ordered by who's been around recently. Pass once and you don't see that profile again for a month. Match and you both get a real chat with read receipts you can turn off and screenshots you can block (iOS and Android only).
Shooting stars, not super-likes
Three direct messages a day, to anyone you want to reach — no mutual match required. Not a paywall, not a scarcity gimmick: three is enough to send the conversations you actually mean to start, and few enough that landing in someone's inbox carries real signal on the other end. No "you've used your weekly super-likes" nag. No coin-toss likes hoping something sticks. Three considered openers a day, every day.
Privacy on your terms
Read receipts are off by default — turn yours on if you want the people you chat with to see when you've read their messages, and they control the same toggle on their side. Screenshots in chat can be blocked (iOS and Android only), you can choose to hide your profile from being seen, and matches with straight users can be excluded — all opt-in, in one screen. Block a user and they vanish from your discover, your search, your matches, everywhere. We never sell your data; ads aren't our model and never will be.
