About
Dating apps were never built for us.
Constellation exists because every mainstream dating app pretends polyamorous people don't exist. Either we get a single "ethical non-monogamy" badge that someone half-understands, or we end up shoehorned into the "couples seeking unicorns" filter alongside profiles that don't reflect anyone we are or anyone we'd date.
We wanted somewhere that treats your relationships as a graph, not as a single transactional pair. A place where your existing partners, comets, metamours, and people-you-play-with-occasionally are all welcome to be part of your profile, with their consent, and where new people can see the whole shape of your life before deciding to come into it.
So we built one.
What's here today
- A constellation chart — add your existing people as members. They confirm; they appear in your chart; you appear in theirs.
- Discover — browse profiles of other polyamorous people. Filter by orientation, gender, relationship style, zodiac, distance.
- Shooting stars — three direct messages per day to anyone you want to reach, no mutual match required.
- Privacy switches — hide your profile, block screenshots (iOS and Android only), disable read receipts, exclude straight matches. Defaults erring on the side of safety.
What isn't
- Swiping for sport.
- Ads, attention engagement loops, or anything that wants you on the app longer than you need to be.
- A "primary partner" slot.
- Endless paywalled features.
- Unreasonably high subscription costs.
Constellation is small and growing. If you've been waiting for a dating app that doesn't ask you to flatten your life into a heteronormative pair-bond shape, you've found it. Bring your people.
